i wonder if i will buy Vue 6 Easel to do my poser render. I heard Vue 6 Easel takes long time for rendering, what about? Could i have realistic pictures whit it? And what about poser characters import into vue? And finally, is the global illumination realistic into Vue? lol, i ask a lot of questions, but i hope someone will help me. Thanks

How about downloading the Vue 5 Easel demo? The interface is the same more or less and the basic functions too - beside some relevant extentions like volumetric clouds for example of course.

Then you get an impression of what you will get for your money - and how the baby behaves on your system.

But think carefully when you like what you see. A lot started with Easel and quickly updated to higher versions then.

Thanks wabe, i'll try that. About the upgrade, i don't think for the upgrade, cause it's not so cheap. It's one of my reasons which make my preference to Easel version. I also own Carrara 2.1, but it's limited for Global Illumination, and there is no poser import integrated, only in obj. files, and it's not so perfect.

Ok, then Easel will be a big step forward for you I think. Let us know how it is going.

the difference between easel 5 and 6 are realy BIG ...
All images in my gallery with "wide screen" and trees etc etc are made in easel 5 or 6..
And YES easel 6 is worth the money 200%
It can take a bit when making renders with tons of fx etc etc but thats normal :} in any program

Easel is great but the rendering engine is very slow, especially when you add complex materials or a lot of lighting.

The second big problem is the materials and plants editors, which does not exist compared to other versions. Therefore, if you need to create your own materials and plants, you would do better to upgrade to Esprit. Esprit will handle Poser objects much better and has a far more efficient rendering engine.

It is worth the extra bucks. You can add on modules, when and if you need them.
