Happy Holidays!  I wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays and new year by giving out Cherry Anime 2 as a Free Open Source Item.

Cherry Anime 2 will follow the GPL License and can be edited and redistributed as long as it follows the GPL license. Meshes used from Cherry Anime 2 may be redistributed but not sold.

All the file contained was a jpg.  Where's the mesh, where are the morphs?

Thanks Damsel...I did try that originally (inserting "www") but stil had no joy.

But I just tried it again, and it seems to be resolved for me (Using IE, and inserting the "www")

Perhaps the server was overloaded with folks all going after it at the same time.

Thanks for this. I bought Cerry Anime V1 long time ago but there was not much support for her. Thanks for V2 as Freebie.

She looks very nice but will have to pass since I am not  a member. Thank you though very nice of you to share.

Two things: 1: You need to be registered to download, but Artdoor is the old Rendervisions operation and the old userID/pssword still work. It just shows how much I keep track of things :( 2: Some people might be a bit worried about the licence terms. It says you can't sell anything made from the mesh, which I would take to mean morphs, re-rigged meshes, that sort of stuff. But I had a moment when I wondered about renders. It's worth clarifying I think, although standard GPL does distinguish between the program and what a user creates with the program.

Thank you Lady Cherry for your hard work and generosity!  I'm going to download thsi as soon as I get home from work.  She looks ever so adorable!  I'll let you know when i ahve a render worthy of sharing!

yup..stumbled on this last night (yes, sob, I go to other sites as well..;) Wasn't sure if I shoulda left a note here, not sure how that works in terms of TOS..;) 
I'm using Firefox, and had been a member of The Art Door, so once you login with a valid ID and account, you get a little 'zip download icon' under the picture. There's also clothes, morphs, and poses as well. Check 'em out. (I always load up on things like this, because more than once, I've said 'go back later', and the site has gone 'club 404'...;|

**TheArtDoor.com is the old rendervisions.com we changed the name so that it was easy for people to remember.

Also I dont think morphs would be a problem to sell because you can use objacation mover or something like that to make sure the person your selling it to has the original .obj file.

You would also need to make sure you specify where the original Cherry Anime 2 Obj file came from (a Url to her at theartdoor.com or something)

Yes we simply changed the name from rendervisions to theartdoor.com. People had a hard time remembering the name rendervisions after you told them at a party or by mail or something.

Much easier to remember TheArtDoor.

The new char looks really good except for ONE thing--her HUGE hands!  Maybe her fingers look squarish in cross-section, and a little too sausage like for my liking.  If the hands were reduced some in overall scale, she'd REALLY rock.  Hands have always been my nemesis, so I'm fine one to talk. LOL

It's really REALLY good work.  The expressiveness is really inspiring!  ^__^ V,,
