you've done all the usual things; upped virtual memory, shut down unneeded programs, run malware and virus scans, checked your Task Manager (assuming you're running Windows) to see what's running, etc?
failing that, you might want to get some more memory for the unit. Best bang for the buck. Have to sympathize, I don't have the resources either to run B6.

A lot of people responded to my last posting about being mad as hell over Bryce's crashing....well, I just need to vent a little more. So, while I was saving--SAVING!--my latest picture, my computer informed me that I was low on memory. Seeing this, I immediately saved again under a new name, a backup, turned off the computer, turned it back on, and loaded up Bryce again. And, of course, my picture was gone! Well that's it for me, I'm going back to Bryce 5.5 until they fix this. At least with Bryce 5.5, when I did run out of memory, it would still save my work. Bryce 6 just isn't worth it.
