Subject: Poser 5 .... Camera views disappeared?

Has anyone ever had their camera view just disappear?  Mine has.  I can see the figure in the small camera view in the material room, but the larger views in the pose and setup rooms are just gone.  No buttons to change the layout no nothing.

It is making it impossible to do any work with the program.  I can't set up my figure if I can't see the bones ... and the screen is pretty much the same in the setup room as well.

Could be worse, could be raining.

Hi ricky,

You must have accidentally keyed in the magic sequence to revert you back to Poser -1, circa 1863 IIRC.

Actually, you might want to try using the:
[menu] "Edit" >>> "General Preferences..." (Ctrl+K in Poser 6) and then ...
Set "Launch to factory state" under the Document tab and, also, ...
Set "Launch to factory state" under the Interface tab.

Then, exit Poser and restart it.

If that does not fix your problem, you may need to re-install Poser.

Thanks, dr. geep.  I stumbled on that solution myself earlier, but you are right that, this was indeed the solution.

And, thank you for coming up with it cause I could have been going a bit nuts here.

Also, if you have some time, feel free to chime in on my Setup Room problems thread.  I am having loads of issues there.

Could be worse, could be raining.
