Yea, I don't like that either. I think that DAZ maybe couldn't get V4's head and V3's body to work together so she's kinda static, stuck like that. I THINK that V4's head morphs are present though?

The V3-V2 figure was the same. It's designed so that you can use your V3 clothing on V4 but I prefer using a conversion program ( my favorite is Wardrove Wizard ) so that I have more clothing for the V4 body

I was really pleased when I saw that Daz gave us this option, but what a load of !!!!!!!! I wanted to use the V3 body that had my morphs, so how is it possible to add clothes to the V3 body when they are morphed to fit my character!! I know about WW but what Daz gave us is just pointless, who uses the V3 body in it's unmorphed state anyway!
I discussed these issues with the V4-V3 figure with DAZ more than once, but it didn't sound like much could be done aside from recreating all the V3 morphs for the V4-V3 figure (which would likely be a ton of work). The default body works fairly well if you want to use a V3 outfit that covers her completely (like the MFD or a long coat), but I think we're going to need a head transplant if we want a really useful V4-V3 figure.

LOL! I knew someone would read that sentence in that way but I just had to leave it. For the figure, although we'll need them too if we still expect DAZ to give us useful backwards-compatible figures for M4 and A4 when it's their time.

We would do both if we had a proper V4 on V3 body. We would still buy new V3 clothes too when they came out. No one uses an umorphed V3 - yuck! Love esther

Agreed, there are quite a few V3 outfits I'd still consider buying too (many of them at DAZ) if V4-V3 was morphable.

can it? I mean the body. Why wouldn't daz make it morphable? How can I make my V4 look like a similar figure to my V3-V4 if that can't morph? Well I guess it might be head transplant time instead. But then there will be texturing problems even if I do make a successful V4 head on V3 morphing body. Has anyone else given this problem any thought? Love esther
