Subject: More than one program when posting

I came across this idea during the current nudity debate of all things. Being as there are many of us that use multi-programs to create a piece, I think it would be cool if we could click on more than one application when we are posting it. This way it appears in both galleries. For instance, I use poser and Max, but typically post in the poser section because it gets more traffic. I could post twice, but that wastes your server space. That is something we've been thinking about. No "easy" solution right now, but we're still thinking.

rcook, would you mind telling what the ez file type is? I mean is that a scripting/programming language on its own like php and perl? also, what database are you using? i'm a code monkey by day and was interested. it might make my suggestions for improvement more relevant if i knew the backend. ----- April AprilsVanity.com

The .EZ files are indeed a scripting language similar to PHP, Perl or Cold Fusion. It is a language called EASE (www.easeforum.com). It was originally created by Edgenet Inc. (www.edgenet.com) to facilitate the creation of their web applications including Bondware, Watercooler and the Renderosity code base. EASE is now owned by Bondware Inc. (www.bondware.com), a spinoff of Edgenet. The backend database is MySQL.

why not just a "multi program" gallery? not "other apps", that implies something different again. i do a lot of poser/photoshop, and it's not easy choosing 2d over poser, as i do, because i know my picture won't be seen by as many viewers...

I'd vote for "Mixed Medium". That covers multiple 3D programs, paint programs, photography, charcoal, watercolors....everything and anything, assuming the artist has used more than one. :)

I agree with chijwi on the "multi apps" gallery since all my work is done with a minimum of three programs.

mixed medium has my vote - multi programs AND traditional.

Ok, I've added a "Mixed Medium" gallery section.

May a thousand fairy godmothers each grant you your fondest wishes, and may they all turn out wonderful for you in every way! :) :)
