Subject: What are these annoying circles.

jjroland ( ) posted Mon, 15 January 2007 at 12:33 PM · edited Fri, 27 December 2024 at 11:46 AM

Im using P6, V4, Nanette.

I saved her in a pose, to see if I would crash poser.  When I opened her back up I have these funky circles all over.  Anyone know why, how I can fix it?

This picture is an example of selecting her thigh, there are similar circles with the selection of any body part.

Thanks in advance!

p.s. This happens in any camera, in full, fast or box, I just chose box for the forum.

They look like magnet zones...

Have you tried to select any of them, what happens in the Parameters palette when you do?

Well I was slightly incorrect, they only show up when selecting, thights, upper arm, hips waist, chest and neck.

Clicking on them around them will only select the part that was initially selected, ie left thigh.  The parameters palet shows only what would have normally showed up if I selected that body part.

Hmm...scratch magnets then, you'd have been able to select those.

Unless they're Remotes?  When you select that body part, and goto the Props dropdown(From where you get the dropdown to select a different body part of your figure) are there any Remotes listed?

It's amazing to me how problems that are SO frustrating are sometimes SO easy to fix.  Wonder how it got set that way in the first place /boggle.  Anyway thanks a bunch for the help!

V4 uses a special empty geometry for all the magnet parts, when you save, in some circumstances the zone reverts to the normal sphere prop.

What would those circumstances be?

I noticed that when I saved with a different Runtime selected from the one that V4 is in, the zones appeared.
