The Bowery was a building prop and a detail set first sold in the Marketplace and then offered for a short while as a freebie, before the sets and the artist  vanished from the Poser scene (or at least he uses another name now). You probably heard this sad story before but I suffered a hard drive crash and gone was the freebie. The 2 promo images are all that is left.

In order to get the freebie back I tried searching for both "bowery" and the artists (former) name "Winston1984" (maybe not totally correct) but no luck in the Poser forum, freebies or marketplace. Mystic Nights 3D directory : nothing. Random google : everything except the right one.

So, if anybody has a clue such as another name for the artist, new site, threads in this forum, etc ...

The freebie was meant to be available for a short while - less than a week I think, as all the MP stuff the creator was giving away.

The Bowery is available for purchase at imagenation-3d.com. I don't personally know anything about this store so I can't endorse it, but there is some more info if you want it.

The page with the free Bowery is still up on the same site, although they have removed the link for it from the main page (it was a 'thank you' for voting for his movie in a contest).  I'm assuming that continuing to host it may be unintentional on their part, however. Maybe you can ask about that if you email him.

Well,  most of the mystery solved. I only see the elevated subway as a freebie.

Since the articles are still for sale (and thus represent revenue) I won't beg for them as a freebie. If I found the forum thread entitling me to have them, maybe.

Thanks.
