No. She is with Poser 7 exclusively.

Which is why you can make the argument that the original 'exclusive' characters included in each version rarely enjoy as much support as their Daz counterparts.

I daresay that the majority of people don't jump on the upgrade boat right away, which means fewer experienced people are exposed to the new figure, which means there's less of a market to create items for them : )

Just a thought.

Miki, Kelvin, Koji, and I think James G2 can be purchased separately.  Miki gets modest support.  P5 figures were never well supported and most Poser users have those figures (they're in P5-P7).

It's more a phenomenon of where people are buying Poser content than anything. When the first Victoria and Michael came out, they were far better figures than the P4 characters before them. The new EF Poser figures aren't significantly better, or (in my opinion) even as good as the current DAZ figures. Apollo Maximus was a better figure, but didn't grab enough of an audience. Unfortunately, Anton pulled that figure from the market and that kills any chance of that figure ever having an increased user base (and probably hurts Anton's efforts at releasing a new figure in the future).

It doesn't mean that a new figure won't eventually wrest DAZ's grip on human characters in the future, but it will take something that's much better than what is available today.

Well I don't agree that the Poser 7 figures aren't as good as the Daz counterparts. I think they're great. They're much more lifelike than the Daz characters and they have better expression morphs.

I will support them. Since I got Poser 7, I've let V4 sit in her Runtime folder, unused. Simon and Sydney are so much more fun.

As I understand it the G2 Males were just the first characters released. I believe that a set of G2 females have also been mentioned for release in the future. Wheither this set will include Sydney or not is anyone's guess. Personally while I don;t find the "look" of Sydney out of the box as all that appealing, I LIKE the male G2 figures. I also like some of the 3rd party work done to Sydney, morphs at RDNA and by TrekkieGrrrl come to mind.

One thing you could probably do is go the Content Paradise and REQUEST that they release Sydney and Simon as stand alone figures. Don;t know if this would do any good or not but if enough people asked so that E-frontier can see a profit in doing it, it would be hard for a company to resist.

As for support, it is slow, but I believe building. As I told one person who asked me about making clothing for an E-f figure, I (and I believe others as well) are a bit hesitant to make content for E-frontier figures until they have settled into a final version for a while. Recently it seems that only weeks go by before a new version is released. This not only makes it hard to create content for (like hitting a moving target) but if you DO release something, it may become unusable from the next update.

I think this trend has slowed or stopped from watching CP's forums. So I think you'll see the amount of content for E-frontiers native figures increase.

Just my opinion

I can only look at the level of support for P5 and P6 figures, which have less than 1% of the variety of products available for the DAZ figures, and bet that the P7 figures won't likely get signficantly better levels of support. Money does talk and the more content people buy for those figures, the more that content providers will be creating for them.

Sydney looks too cartoonish for my tastes right out of the box. I haven't played much with the figures, but haven't played much with V4 either.  With TrekkieGrrl using these figures a lot, will there be a Rickman morph coming soon for Simon?

G2 figures share clothing according to their gender with the exception of hats and other headgear.

that is to say all G2 males share clothing.

anything made for G2 koji, Kelvin or G2 James will fit Simon.

when Olivia and G2 Jessi come out they will share clothing with Sydney.

because miki is so much shorter than the other characters she will not get a G2 version but they do intend to improve her and make a miki 2.

from what i have seen the g2 figures seem to have more support than the p5 and p6 figures ever had. you cant really compair their support to the support v3 and m3 get because they have been on the market for less time than m3 and v3.
