Subject: Boxed Release?

keenart ( ) posted Sat, 27 January 2007 at 12:38 PM · edited Mon, 19 August 2024 at 7:30 AM

Well, I do not have Broadband, so have patiently waited for release of the “Boxed Version”. The middle of January has passed and no info, no Newsletter about when eon will release. Have any of you who downloaded heard anything of substance?

Maybe this post will make Monday a day of miracles?

I have asked around some about this myself.  No word.  You would think that after not living up to what was stated in the newsletter, E-On would at least give SOME indication as to what is happening.

They just came out with a new patch a few days ago - that to me would mean at least a week or so more of beta testing - some have had problems with the new patch...  I'm not having any problems, but I have not installed the last patch.  Guess I should bite the mouse cord and install it.

My guess - mid February.

I was wondering the same thing.  I have d/l V6 Easel by 3 consecutive times (on dial-up), and have read that they would release or ship the boxed version sometime by the end of January.

It looks like it's gonna be awhile b4 we know something.

Oh well,

JB

YEP!  Miracle Monday has come and gone.  I think trying to make the software compatible with XP, Vista, 32 and 64 bit has proven a challenge.  That said, I would rather wait for a stable retail than get a "monster in the box!"

However,... it would be nice to know something from e-on, to temporarily quell the anticipation.
