Subject: Venturing Into Blender

I have been hesitate in venturing in to Blender for the past couple of years being that the interface was so intimidating to me. But Being that I am pulling my year old game engine I bought a license for and at least want to make something with it I decided to give blender a try being that they make plugins for blender to make content for the Torque Engine. So on Thursday I just sat down and started modeling. I kept my progress updated on Gargage Games site. This is what I have done so far. I haven't had a chance to get back to it yet.





I still don't know how to use all the functions in Blender as of yet. Cause once I finish this I will go to texture her. Hope you enjoyed the pics. :)

the model is actualy realy nice for a first in blender.  i would work on your topology for the shoulders and face more.

Nice work!  Do you plan on animating the face?  If you do you may run into problems, but if it's mostly still then you may be ok.

Not at the moment. It was just to get use to Blender controls. So it's just more of a test dummy.
