Subject: What celebrity is her?

Hi folks

I suppose you received last Daz newsletter. This time I'm a little lost. What celebrity looks like her?

I couldn't figure it out either.....😕

I thought they were saying it was a "virtual celebrity" - i.e. a famous, but not real, person.

Video marketing is all the rage so Daz are just following the latest trend by using YouTube.

Hmm... I was under the impression that 3D Celebrity's characters were all "based" on actual celebs.....

Well - she definitely doesn't look familiar.

Usually 3D Celebrities has characters with very clear likeness, but this time I can't adivine who (if they used a real person as base, perhaps this time not)

I saw the vid at YT. Mmh, good music, good mix, but I would like more movement. But it's curious to see Daz using that promo way :)

... btw not a very professional step to choose YouTube for advertising! YT is unmoderated and anyone can post their troll comments there. Really sometimes spoils the videos that are up there!

lucstef ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2007 at 7:25 AM

She seems to resemble Jessica Alba's face, then you see the body and think "JLo".......

RedHawk ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2007 at 7:27 AM

Does anyone still have the Youtube link? I deleted my newsletter and forgot to check it out..... 😊

It was boring and stills.. whats wrong did the find out her biceps are rubbish and her arms still look not so good in tensing?

Until you can tense muscles individually shes about worthless, doing an amazon results in a dreadful looking non-person with bad shoulders.

Asto who, eyes and mouth look like alba, Nose throws it off though for me.

The Fabulous Moolah ?

bdougal ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2007 at 4:52 PM

Actually, this one seemed pretty easy for me. She was on House last night: Scarlett Johanson.

I'd love to see a thread outing all the DAZ celebrities. I can only identify about half of them.

BastBlack ( ) posted Wed, 31 January 2007 at 8:22 PM

I dunno. I thought she looked like the big sister of those Bratz dolls. bB

YACEB.
yet another cross eyed blonde.

Acadia ( ) posted Thu, 08 February 2007 at 5:32 PM

Cameron Diaz?
Charliese Theron (sp?)
Kate Moss?

Who was the girl who played "Wednesday" in "The Adams Family" movies? It could be her.... big eyes, large forehead, triangle shaped face.

Scarlett Johansson

You might as well PAY attention, because you can't afford FREE speech

Acadia ( ) posted Thu, 08 February 2007 at 5:57 PM

Hmmm, never heard of her. But it does look like her.

Scarlett Johansson has been in all sorts of stuff, notably "Lost in Translation", a few years ago.   I think Stallion is right:  that really is meant to be SJ.   The bizarre thing is that the real SJ is rather easy to spot, if you have seen her, because she is very pretty, but in a rather distinctive sort of way.   I certainly didn't see her face in the DAZ "Celebrity", before Stallion pointed out the not very successful resemblance.

DAZ may have deliberately fudged the resemblance to the real SJ, to avoid being besieged by the most predatory vultures in Beverly Hills' law offices.  On the other hand, the fact that  this set's resemblance to la Johansson is considerably less noticeable than its resemblance to every other V4 set on the market, could conceivably tell us something about how good (or, who knows, not so  good) V4 actually is.

I just look her up on the net to see what things she's been part of.  I haven't seen any of the things listed for her so that's probably why I don't recognize her name or face.

Well as far as the video goes, 3DCelebrity did it and posted it themselves. Daz just sort of took the buzz and ran with it. David
