Look at how pretty the kim character for V3 is in the product showcase forum - link above. See how her bottom lip is straight across horizontally in the middle instead of having a curve and there is also a vertical divit down the middle of the lip. Now look at every single V4 render you see, and you will see all her bottom lips in the different characters - be they fat or thin bottom lips, are more or less the same shape. Some V4 characters are quite pretty with this lip shape, but to me they are just a tiny bit plain. Whereas Kim is beautiful and has character because of her lovely lower lip. The bottom lip of every V4 character looks very very similar to me and I think this is why. Just a lack of V4 lip morphs compared to V3. I so so want to use V4 and like her, I truly do, but everytime I see a really really beautiful character, say in a promo render, I check and they are always V3 not V4. Love esther

i havent noticed that problem but the one i notice alot is that the edge of the lips is a strong solid line on nearly all the characters whereas it should be a little faded.  Example look at Alice from Aery Soul compared to Nanette from DM or even Adriana from chevybabe25.  And im not saying that they are bad character packs quite the opposite I think they are awesome but I just dont like the solid line on the natural texture.

Do you think that might be just a texturing problem - the edge thing I mean? But what do you think about the lips when you compare V3 renders to V4 if you look at the shape of the lower lip? Love esther

I too agree with lack of lip morphs on V4, I have managed somewhat to give a less curved bottom lip on V4!

It's simply a lack of face morphs as compared to what came with V3's morph pack.  Same is true for her eyes, nose, cheeks, chin and brows.  Daz calls it simplifying the character for overwhelmed users but its more a case of them offering less for more money with future upgrade morph sets sure to come.

Well I don't find the other face morphs as lacking. But the lower lip morphs is a very bad lack. You are right, undoubtedly there will be some V4 face morph packs. I just hope they come soon, otherwise V4 will suddenly start getting a fuggly reputation like Judy did and if another great character comes along with good posing etc, V4 will get dumped which would be sad. Porthos, she looks lovely. You've done a great job, and that's one of the nicest V4s I have seen. Love esther

Shes gorgeous Porthos.   And yes I think it is a texturing problem due to the new seperate lip area.   As for the lip morphs I agree that she dont have much to offer there and that alot look the same.

More morph packs really annoy me,  on a limited budget i sometimes cannot justify what I spend and my Husband liked to had a heart attack over the $66 for the V4 pro pack anyway.  He said if I was making money and not just a hobby it would be a little different.   But noone twisted my arm and said i had to buy her.  lol
