That is neat Kim...the whole picture takes on an abstracted textural aspect. Fred, Simon is this guy (or Simone for the ladies) who tells us what to do once a week, and we listen. Post 1 photo along the theme of the person who started it. This first person to respond each week starts the next one.

Ok, just to get started, no real neat texture around me today.  The only partially interesting was right under my feet.  LOL   I will try for a better one..with photographic merit...like the previous shot of the rocks.      Tom.

Fred, it is from an old kids game, Simon Says...simon says, "step three steps forward..etc."  On a small lane as a child we played Simon Says many times.

Sheep, very matted, at an old plantation farm in Georgia, USA.  This was taken with an old and still worthy Minolta Dimage F100..my first true digital cam with a memory card.    This is not wool to run you hands through.  They might need a trim.

Some of the most tactile textures are the coats of animals...Bennie(here) has been in many of my photos. His fur is short, American Shorthair version of cat coat.  Yet, this is a very soft fur on the body...careful of the kittie's mood at the time and know where and where not to pet!   This is a neat texture, the hair being ticked.  Ticked means the color is different along the hair shaft but with amazing uniformity, hair to hair.   Sorry, I still don't have a really nice photo for this Simon but have been on a hyperactive roll of pc stuff lately...here is a nice texture to the hands!

Question to Kort

quote: Post 1 photo along the theme of the person who started it.

I see Tom Dart posted 3 already??
I thought just 1 is allowed....it will confuse us

BTW nice textures posted already

Sorry, Ilona.  One is ok with me if that is the rule.   The photog challenge allows more than one and I followed the same suit.   I remember in the past only posting 1 to simon..you are likely correct in this.        Tom.

True, only one normally for Simon,...but with Tom we allow some leeway. ;'P

I will keep the "rule of one" in mind...simply got carried away.  Thanks!
