Subject: Real-Life Halo Suit

I look at a LOT of robot reference type of images online, and I recently ran across this.

** LINK**

A guy who has constructed a Real-Life Halo Suit. Cost him about $15,000...

It's pretty complex looking (and sounding, from the description).

Btw, some of you may remember this guy, he spent years trying to perfect a Bear-Proof suit. Yes...a suit (of modern plastic-like armor) that would protect the wearer against Bear attacks....I remember it took like 45 minutes to get on, with the help of a couple other guys. Truly not for the fighting off of sneaky Bears....

That's (I believe) a little under 40 pounds. I know some packs soldiers take are more than 40 pounds, but still, that is a little on the heavy side I would think, lol. I would hope it would be bullet-proof, head to toe.

The new Dragon Skin Armor, now that would be worth having (if I actually needed it) Saw it on TV (it's the new "Kevlar" Vest), except that this thing will stop repeated firing of large caliber rifle, armor piercing rounds.

`Course...I bet your ribs will look like a cheap meat buffet....

should probably be able to make it lighter using other materials... though it'd prolly get more expensive then also! haha
