meltz ( ) posted Sat, 03 February 2007 at 2:59 PM · edited Tue, 05 November 2024 at 3:12 PM

I have Photo Shop (the newiest virsion)

What i want to do is take lets say a photo of my wife, and somehow use her skin to make a texture for one of my poser models. Any turtorals or andone know how i can find out to do this?

you want to make her face and then add the texture if so you need to have two photos of her face one from the front and one from the side to show her ear eye, and chin then just go into the face room and create it.

Man! The faceroom is harder than they make it seem. I've been messing with it for a while and I still can't get decent results.

Topcat the face room is easy all you have to do is load to photos one of the front and one of the side and use the dots put them around the face and apply the shape then go back into the pose room and render it and you will see the face you have on the render. it's that simple lol you cannot see it with out the render i know that would be easier lol look how simple it is.

@meltz...

Do you mean that what you want to do is
a) Photograph (or otherwise acquire) some skin textures and apply them to existing character texture templates? or..
b) Create a copy of your wife's head?

From your original post I'd suspect the former (a).

Alas, I can't really help you, since I'm no expert in the area of creating textures, but  I posted so as to try to clear up a posible source of confusion

Cheers,
Diolma

Yes diolma iwhat i want to do is a) Photograph (or otherwise acquire) some skin textures and apply them to existing character texture templates

I figure the best way is to take the photo then copy the skin onto the template
