milcoi ( ) posted Mon, 05 February 2007 at 12:44 AM · edited Fri, 24 January 2025 at 2:23 AM

Hi,

I'm looking for high-res nude male body pictures (fitness body muscular) made with 3D app.
The pose should be front view, arms wide, legs together, back view, arms wide, legs together.
and when possible a UVmap picture with the entire body.

I hope some 1 is willing to help

best regards,
Milcoi

Likely you're looking for something like www.3d.sk, although their content is not free.  If you're looking for skin texture resources though, they seem to be the prime source of photo reference.

I know there is a standard male figure in poser. I would like to see some screenshots. If some 1 have a more muscular male figure and make some screenshots that would be great.

Regards

Well - this is Mike 3, with Muscular 3 morph applied.

Michael 3.0 Base is free but you'll need the Michael 3.0 Head & Body Morphs too, they're $30.

He also does a less pumped-up "tone" morph. This is "Tone" at 1.0 with Muscular 1 morph at 0.5.

Or you've got David, also from Daz3d. He's a smaller model but he does stocky well.  [The Complete David Bundle](http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=2262&cat=85) is more expensive though.

Sure, here you go.

The texture I've used is called Angelo and it's in the Marketplace here:

Thanks!! Thanks!!

If some 1 have some more, please post. (less muscular and larger picture)

Oh, oops, I misunderstood.  You might also consider DAZ's The FREAK, although he's not very realistic (not intended to be).

ok... I'm downloading daz now..

I'm playing Secondlife and want to create some skin. I use these pictures to edit and paste them into a special template.

more pictures are welcome!

yeah, milcoi, you can't download these pictures that Karen has uploaded for you, and use those! they are being shown to show you the figures that are available from http://daz3d.com to use those figures you would either need to purchase "Poser" (app) or download "Daz Studio" (free app) then purchase those figures from Daz. maybe i'm wrong but it sounds like you are wanting people to upload pictures here for you to download and you are going to use those pictures for what you want to do with 'em! you would need Karens permission to do that for starters, and she could also advise you whether or not you would be able to use those textures on whatever characters you intend on using them on anyway, you may not be able to use someone elses textures derived from renders to make your game characters (if they are to be uploaded for others to use).

I believe DAZ left behind much bulk, when creating M3?  M2 and M3 are'nt compatable, so I see where this happened, but I still think the Daz3D Millenium Man Michael 2.0 is the most masculine figure.

If you click on the Lips, in my Signature, you will see my gallery of M2 posters.

I've been working on V3, for the past year, so the attached image is just the first half-way decent M2 WIP I have off hand.

And here is my progress with Daz3D David 3.

pjz99 ( ) posted Mon, 05 February 2007 at 9:19 PM

Angel how does your David 3 look with the arms down?  I'm a bit discouraged with male figures at the moment in the hope that DAZ will hurry up with Michael/David 4 but there doesn't seem to be much of a blip on the radar for that.  I always have very bad kinks in the mesh when I try to put any bulk on the shoulders in a male figure like you've got above except for Freak, but Freak has some differences in scale that I can't reconcile myself to (e.g. the hands are so big!)

I have a freebie that I did for the Freak that scales the hands and feet down and a nice facial morph as well.  You can download it from the above link! 😄  It's not perfect but it's better.. in my humble opinion! 😉

Any special pose?

It's easy to be discouraged with Male figures, and looking toward Daz3D is definately the right idea, but expecting them to keep turning out Origional and Fantastic figures is bad news.

I would'nt advise pressuring Daz for a couple reasons.  First is that it took me over a year to get M2 where he is, without any magents.  My guess is that I could easily spend another year tinkering with him, and then move on to David...Secondly, with M2 and D3 where they are at, seeing effort channeled toward new, and incompatible..., figures;  instead of Updates, Upgrades, for Works Accomplished, is most disccouraging!

pjz99 ( ) posted Mon, 05 February 2007 at 10:00 PM

Ramwolff, thanks a lot, I'll check that out.  I wanted to use Freak initially for a certain character and got good feedback on the face and general physique (Lean morph pretty high) but people kept objecting to the hands and feet, and I didn't have a lot of luck getting them more in line.  I will check out your freebie, thanks a lot.

Angel, really just a casual standing pose is what I'm curious about, or whatever you happen to have handy.  No need to go too much out of your way, particularly if Ramwolff's freebie addresses my problem with Freak (he's really got the mesh for the meat imo).

I do'nt know what's up with David?  This is the first time I've opened him, since having reformatted my HDD, and I ca'nt get his eyes to stop bugging out of his head.

This happened the last time I reformatted, but the solution was in which runtime I loaded the file with, though that's not working now?

I tried to hide it, but...

Enjoy!

The shoulders look pretty good actually.  I'll see if I have David (don't think I do) and give him some quality time.

If you can trim(/shear) D3's Lower Pectoral(Chest) muscles to be less round, and more like M2(Cut/Lean/Chisled/Straighter;)I'll swap you the rest of my MOR.pz2 file for it?

This is easily one thing I hold M2 over D3 for!

Of all the Mil Males, including the Freak and Hiro, David is a winner hands down.  He was the underdog for the longest time but with texture gurus like Jepe and others he's finally gotten noticed in the last year or so.  I do agree that Mike 2 is really a great figure but his eyes bother me and there just was not allot in the way of clothing for him.  I have tons of really nice texture packs for him but clothing was always the issue.  David is well clothed, fantasy and realistic, lots of skin texture packs and better mesh and refined morphs.  Got M3 beat hands down.  Hiro bends better but is missing so much and the Freak is .... well ..... a Freak!  I like him loads but David is the best here!

Here's an angel I created using David a long while back!

Clap, Clap, Clap...Applause!  Very nice!  Did you ever pick up the Free Bryce 5 RAMWolff;  a quick B5 sky wold make him jump right out at you!

milcoi - BTW, your original post was about Textures.  Is this still what you're looking for, or was it Figures too?

RAMWorks ( ) posted Tue, 06 February 2007 at 2:00 AM

No but I have the paid for Bryce 6!!  😉  I admit it, I'm lazy.  I love DAZ Studio first.  Bryce is the second and then Carrara.  Poser is used as more of a utility program for producing Cr2's and all that but now there are so many scripts (kinda like Python but for DAZ Studio) that all that's becoming possible to the point where I have really no reason to even open up Poser.  I may not even upgrade come version 8!

Glad you like the render!!  I love angels too!  I used to work with a Meta-physician that worked with Archangel Michael.  It was a very powerful and awesome experience to have him there in the room with the both of us.  I could feel him all over me.  Very warm and safe feeling.  If I closed my eyes I could see him pretty clearly.  It was and always will remain a very powerful experience.  A true blessing!  😄

RAMWolff, I'm curious, what did Archangel Michael look like in your vision?
Could you post an artwork of yours about him for us?
Thanks in advance!

RAMWorks ( ) posted Tue, 06 February 2007 at 2:36 PM

He didn't have a distinct look.  It was more, when I closed my eyes, an overly lit, blurred and allot of  warmth emanating from him.  Not really wings per say but there was that feeling that I was being enveloped by wings and arms folding around my body.  Totally trusting and surrender came very easy during this session.  I was working at releasing Etheric Cords that were attached to me from past, unhealthy relationships.  I'll tell you this.  I walked out of there feeling VERY different.  Like I was cleansed, inside out.  It was over 6 years ago now but I remember enough to know I was not able to get a clear picture of him in my minds eye.  I think humans can not fathom or even deal with what angelic energy looks like so we give them human form because it's something our minds and imagination can deal with.  It's nice to say God is a He when God is really energetic and has no real form.  Same with angels and all other forms.  Our minds and imaginations NEED that form to comprehend and accept.  I've kinda moved past allot of that.

RAMWolfe - At the time M2 was big, there was a productknown as Real Eyes, by CakeOne(I think.)  These really made eyes sparkle!  They are their own Eye geometries/textures.  The trick was to shine a light right into them, and then have them look directly at the camera.

BTW - I rememebr something about Archangel Michael, but this is all I can remember.  Where did it get started, and where did it go?

KarenJ ( ) posted Wed, 07 February 2007 at 7:31 AM

milcoi, if you want contributions to a project, you need to let people know that. I thought you wanted comparisons of the models available?

If you want some images then let people know what size, etc. I'm happy to make some images for your use if you tell me exactly what you want.

The Loin is AsHipC2, by As Shanim.  As Shanim is also Awful Soul and Aery Soul.

He made it for Vicky 2...I think, and has since converted it for V3.

I then fit it to M2.  It was'nt too tough, but took me a week or so.  I did'nt add any magnets, so most of the adjustments were just Size, and Transform.  If you have Poser 7, I think I could write you a pose file that would help.
