Subject: Need some help with morphs for Akio3

docsgirl27 ( ) posted Fri, 09 February 2007 at 6:08 PM · edited Wed, 14 August 2024 at 7:13 AM

I have made a texture for Akio and would like to customize some morphs to go with the texture.  Something that is unique and pleasing to the eye.  I have tried doing this and have come up with nohting.  I am productive in making textures but I honestly don't know anything about making morphs.  If someone could help me with this  I would gladly appreciate it.  please contact me by IM here and will send the texture if you can help me with this.

thanks

I wish I could help you but I'm not all that great at morphing up figures either. I do try and with the help of using some character addon packages or the morph injections for the figure I've managed to come up with something of "my own". However if you are planning on giving away your morph and texture or selling it.... you don't want to be relying on what others have done and tweaking it.  You will need to inject the morphs and dial up all of the settings yourself.

Hopefully someone can help you out.  However in the meantime don't give up.  The only way you get better at something is to keep at it and try and keep trying.

Hi docsgirl27, You'll need Aiko's head and body morphs do do this, which you can by from DAZ. http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=2884&spmeta=rl 👍 The thing i usually do is start to morph the whole figure around and tweek it till i'm satisfied. I try different things like scaling individual parts of the body (scaling -parts of- the legs, abdomen, arms, etc...) and try out many morphs like e.g. make a smaller waist, thicken the legs, even scale down the neck and so on... The fun part is that you can dial in positive, as well as negative values with these morphs, and like so create your own figures. If you want close up's on the face, there's a lot of morphs at hand to. Another cool thing you can try is the use of magnets e.g. if you want to make a beer belly or a pregnant belly. It's fairly simple to do, i have Poser for little over one year now and already know how to do this stuff and if i can do this, anybody can learn it !! Here are some screenshots where i made 2 different Aiko's next to the original one. http://m1.freeshare.us/128fs386593.jpg http://m1.freeshare.us/128fs38689.jpg http://m1.freeshare.us/128fs386938.jpg http://m1.freeshare.us/128fs387088.jpg I used textures other then my own 'cause i'm not that good at texturing yet 😊 And here is my latest pic with the two figures in it... http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1377993&member Hope that helped  Wim
