Ok this is a newbie question here......I want to make clothes for poser, I've tried several different things..... getting the casual man file and painting on the paints and the shirt and then renduring it on the guy but it comes out blotchy.....I've tried several different times and different ways and it comes out the same blotchy..as in different colored skin blotchy...I use PhotoImpact 6 I'm just confused and fustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated Brian

heyas; when you load the texture, and look at the poser window in textured mode, it WILL look blotchy. did you actually render it? poser only uses a low-res version of the texture in texture preview mode. also try turning off the shadows (under render options) and see if that helps. turning on the anti-alias (same place) may also help. if you are having trouble getting clear details on the clothes, make the clothing texture file bigger. up to 2000x2000 pixels large. if none of that helps, try posting a pic of what it looks like, maybe we can figure out what's going wrong.

Ok here is the image....I also sometimes get this when I try to put shirt on the guy from a texture I've downloaded from a site

Thats a result of using a texure for another figure. Textures for the Casual Man will only work with the Casual Man, and not the Nude Man. Textures for the P3 Nude Man won't work with the P4 Nude Man. Each model is UV Mapped so that image date in certain areas of the 2D image will show up in particular areas on the 3D model.

Hope this helps. BTW, are you using Poser 3 or Poser 4?

Thanks and I think it will help...I'm using poser 4
