I have uploaded a freebee more than two days ago but I don't see it at the free stuff section.(Usually posting is much faster).
Since I didn't get any email saying that my freebee has been rejected, I wonder if something went wrong with my upload. Should I upload again or what?

Not seeing any items under your screenname in pending.

Make sure the item is not already in your Freestuff Collection (Click here)

If not, you can try re-uploading your product. If there are any problems, you should be IM'ed and/or e-mailed about it.

Ok! ( there has been a sudden wake-up in the free stuff section with 22 new items posted  in the last 5 mn (!) and mine is among them). Thanks.

Yes, I agree with Bar-Code a freebee forum would be great! After all the free stuff section is quite important, it attracts a lot of people (actually I think that Rendo's free stuff area is the best free stuff area on the Internet; personally I registered here precisely for this); a freebee forum will be nice!

How long does it take for freestuff to finally show up?  I remember when I could upload and the item would show up instantly.  Now they all have to be reviewed?  It's not like I am asking for money. 

We just make sure the link doesn't go to adult type sites, the zip downloads & the item basically loads as it should. Also, to make sure the item doesn't cross anyone's copyrights.

Just a little preventitive damage control.

I take it that became a problem over the years.  That's a shame, but I understand why Renderosity would need to prevent that.

Freestuff has always been reviewed as long as I've been here... nearly 5 years now.

If you are having problems with freestuff not appearing, please send a site mail to the moderator of the section you posted in, e.g. for Bryce you would contact AgentSmith, Poser myself or any other Poser mod, etc.

It wasn't reviewed when I uploaded my Bryce textures, that would have been around 2002.   So it hasn't  always been reviewed.

I didn't say it always had, just always since I've been here :-)
