i appreciated all of the prior comments. just because i didn't institute some of the suggestions doesn't mean i wasn't listening. please comment again...even if it's the same comment. 😉

You have found an interesting way to showcase different works you have made, but on the downside they make the front page very busy.  3 animated gifs on one page is just too much. Out of curiosity, how would the gallery and portfolio be different, unless the the gallery is a public one? Or just a group of sample buttons?

I really prefer your current webpage.

Hello, I went to your website but when I clicked on the links, nothing happened! I disabled my pop up blockers but I still could not get the links. Any idea why?

Ok , I went to your old website and had NO problem getting into your links, is the new one that does not allow me to go to your galleries or anything else.

no buttons work yet other than rollover/rolloff effects...still in the design phase and not working on the actual functioning yet.

yes i'm throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks...so to speak. but i am sensing the same thing you are...too much.
if nothing else i'm giving myself lots of stuff for the portfolio section. 😉

i'm thinking one trick thing on the front page, maybe some cool buttons and that's it. 

less is more.
