Subject: why is she ragdoll'd?

can you help me? BECAUSE IN POSER EVERYTIME I MOVE A CHARACTER THEY START FALLING LIKE THEY ARE BEING HUNG. as if they are a ragdoll...how do i turn it off?i turned collision off, and it still doesnt work..

What method are you using to move the characters? Are you trying to move just one body part, or the whole figure?

It's usually best to use the dials until you get used to working with the tools...

I think I understand what you mean. Try going to the figure menu and turn off all IK chains.

Figure ---> Use Inverse Kinematics --- all deselected

yeah i would grab her hip and pull up and her whole body would hang down. i hate it. thanks for the help

That sounds like Inverse Kinetics alright.

I remember when I first started using Poser, I had the same problem.

It really pays to use the dials rather than manually manipulating limbs.

If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards...checkmate!
