For those that haven't seen it yet, there is a new version of Hondara's Tuyoko charactor up on his webpage. Sorry I can't give the link as I believe there is a problem with the TOS.

is that "have's" page? there are several links to it in previous messages. Tuyuko is apparently referenced in CP as well. it sez version 1.0, 13 MB, fully clothed, but there's a bondage figure at the top, and have's "enter" page is restricted, hence they might delete the link, excepting it's a week-end, so they may not see it til monday.

Remarkable free model - great textures and she takes universal poses nicely....

For people without the link: in Google I put 'poser japan have eroko' and I've found a Quarker's page (Deep Quark Secrets Do you like hentai?) with direct link to Have's page (HONDARA-CITY). 'Enter' and 'Freestuff 1' (where the model is stored) are in pretty english

no, pak. p6j refers to the japanese version, hence it may need adjustments (see above link) to work in p6e, for example.

Mmh... looks like not easy to use, instead of Eroko (a very useful free model)

Eroko was stored at Have site, but looks like he deleted her...

I downloaded Eroko, but she's in the tens of thousands of things I haven't uploaded to Poser 5 yet. I wonder if the new character would work in P5...

I downloaded and installed her in P6 and she would not load. Does anyone know why?

Have's version of Poser is the J version, and so has text in japanese. That sometimes interfered with her functioning. Also, did you unzip to a temp folder first? Have's stuff, like a lot of Jposer artists, starts with his name and characters name, before getting into the runtimecharacters etc... stuff.

neither one of 'em would work (without correction) in P6E IIRC. but try tuyuko in P7E and see if it works there. I examined the cr2 file for tuyuko in BBEdit and didn't see any illegal characters, at least in regard to OS X. it's possible that P7E is more robust in locating texmaps than was P6E.

Poser 7 is just as bad. How did you fix her? What is P6E IIRC?

p6e = poser 6 english. try it again in P7E. AFAIK all ya gotta do is navigate to the folder with the jpg textures in it, when it asks for an unknown texture name on loading the cr2 file. then it automatically finds all the other texmaps. if it's still causing P7 to crash, that may mean it's a cross-platform issue, as I noticed hondara-san used mac OS conventions, e.g. : in path names.

I found two typos in the IK section (legs) of TUYUKO-Ver.1.cr2, but it didn't prevent the cr2 file from loading. perhaps hondara got rid of eroko because the gaikokujin had mentioned it crashed on them.

Nancy, could you email me a copy of the fixed cr2 in .txt format so I can fix mine? I would appreciate it. Thanks!!

I didn't fix it, lee. I just used it exactly as it unzipped from TUYUKO-Ver.1.0.zip. I told elfwine I didn't use these because they would need to be fixed, but today I read "have's" blog entries, in which he described his correction of TUYUKO-Ver.1.cr2 to eliminate all the japanese characters, that the gaijin might be able to use it. although "have" missed only two words in the cr2 file (Leftleg and Rightleg), his fixed version (now available as download from his site) works without any further fixing, in OS X. I dunno if it will work in XP, but I've seen one other case where a mac OS cr2 file (the thing to the left of this message) didn't work in XP.

I get that way more often than not.  It's sorta understandable with the freebies but it's a bit of a frustration with the pay stuff.  Also would be nice if they would name the readme something other than "readme".

I just dump it into the readme folder, and if they don't bother to identify it any better, then it'll overwrite the last thoughtless jackass's readme, and will be overwritten by the next one.

Works fine in P7E SR1 but there is a missing OBJ for the Conforming hair. "hair.obj" isn't in the zip.

noticed that..;) I used her in a pic, also found that 'point at' a camera for her doesn't work. Have to actually rotate the eyes into position if you rotate the model (but whaddaya want for free?..;)

TUYUKO-hair.cr2 should reference Tuyuko-hair.obj. I couldn't read the "read-me" - didn't have the right character set to translate.

I fixed the hair, but I still can't get the figure to load right away. What should I look for? The .cr2 is in English now. Thanks, Sherrie

Tests confirm that TUYUKO works in Poser 5. You just have to manually load one texture when requested. er...not counting hair and other extras.
