A3 is the unimesh so A3,V3,M3 thay all have the same polycount right ?

Polycount of V4 is 66024, you can check by loading it in UV-mapper classic and looking and the number of facets.

UVMapper, kool, I used that back in the TrueSpace days good to know Steve's still around.

74510 - 66024 = 8486 it's lower !!!

I expected V4's to be 149,020 or some ungodly poly count.

I like all the stuff A3,V3 has and all but the meshes poly count,High.

Good desion for V4 to have a lower polycount.

Since V4 specs read P6 or higher.I do not have V4 I'm using P5.

V4,P7,Vue etc etc all on my to get list.

I also have UV-mapper-pro and it's one of my most usefull tools, Steve pops up now and then in the forum so he's still around.
Daz made a smarter mesh for V4 with a lower polygon-count, in my opinion the bends of the knees and elbows are better than V3, but the armpits are still too high.
You can use the free daz-studio to see how V4 (basic is also free, without the morphs) works.

V4 works in P5. Not all material options are supported in P5, however. 
When you try loading V4 into P5, you'll get a message that it was meant for a newer version of Poser. P5 will try to load it anyway, and it will succeed. 
Same goes for P4: V4 will still work in P4, but many material options are lost. 

By the way, the P4 woman is usually called Posette.

There is a default script that comes with P7, which will give you poly counts as well, so you don't have to export to another program.

Just click Scripts -> PrintInfo -> PrintGeomStats and then it'll calculate everything in the current scene. Just scroll down the list a bit for the "Victoria4 totals".

I'm not sure if that script works with earlier versions of Poser or if you can even find it anywhere, but it might be worth a shot.

DAZ Studio has a V3 RR LE polycount 24406,kool.

Bopperthijs V4 Base is $30 at DAZ.

If there is a free V4 in DAZ Studio ah I can not find it ,help.

@RorrKonn: Sorry, I'm afraid it was only free in the first weeks after her release, I was in the opinion it still was, sorry about that. DAZ has a strange marketing policy, V3 has been free for a long time but after they released V4, it suddenly was $29,95. V4 is $1,99 for platinum club members, but then you have to pay for that also.

I still have Poser to learn inside and out before I can start making stuff for V4 or any meshes.

Like the low polycount 24406 V3 RR LE.Shes easier learn with then A3 anyways.

It does strike me as odd to have V3 for sale again.

One would think everybody would buy V4.

There does not seem to be many low polycount characters with a large selection of cloths for poser.

You could have low polcount meshes in poser and then when ya import them to apps like C4D

You could HyperNURB them for the final animation.

Have not seen any game meshes for Poser.
