Waterfalls....I bet this one's been done?  There used to be a link to a list of Simons that had been covered, is that still on the go? This waterfall is called "Corra Linn" its the River Clyde at Lanark, & well worth the short walk out of New Lanark to see it.  There's nesting Perigrin Falcons a little further on. The chicks can fetch 10s of 1000's of pounds so the nest is watched almost constantly. Anyway I digress, so lets see your best waterfall shots, surely everyones got one or two somewhere.

Silver falls? Looks mossy green to me. @aangus - Even if we did waterfalls before it was long ago (not so far far away).

I posted these two photos in the gallery last week.  Since Simon demands waterfalls, I'll re-link to them!

Taken in 2005 on my trip to croatia... rather impressive cascading steps and as always better seen in the flesh (so to speak).

Super fall in this thread..and that Alaska one in Aloha land.. : )

This is Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee, USA.  A better pic is in my gallery.  This shows the height of the falls, with wee people in the lower right near the falls bottom.

OK, not a very good photo of mine, it was so dark and fenced off, but I liked the story behind it when I saw it!!

The Secret Waterfall

(somewhere deep in the heart of North Wales - but it's secret, so I can't tell you where!! LOL!)

The Secret Waterfall

***"Listen carefully and you may hear ghosts of the Victorian miners who made this picturesque waterfall, with its drop of 100 feet. It drains the upper moorland that would otherwise have flooded the mines, and was hidden for more than a century by a dense growth of rhododendron bushes, behind which it was just a mysterious whisper. Hence its name Y Rhaeadr Gudd, or Secret Waterfall."

Not so mighty as the photos already shown in this thread - some great shots, well done!

"I don't suffer from insanity,
I enjoy every minute of it."

This is the Christman Sanctuary Waterfall. Or .. Not. Was a particularly dry few days and it was a Water..Trickle. :)

Now, as fate would have it, we got to the second waterfall and a very nasty, large thunderstorm suddenly came booming in! This was once again a waterfall after that, but we were too busy trying to get out of the preserve because we had no rain gear. The camera survived. :)
