I did enter some contest, but I can't remember what I entered.  Now I have this.  I can't go and there does not seem to be any way of contacting them to send me my prize.  There are links to a hotel makes it look more genuine.  **BUT **they want $595.00 Registration for Photographers, seem suspect.  Has anyone else had this?

Because you requested that we notify you of important photographic events, I am delighted to inform you that in just a few weeks, we will be honoring your photographic accomplishments at the International Society of Photographers Convention and Symposium, to be held at the Riviera Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV, from March 22-25, 2007.In recognition of your photography presentation at this prestigious International Symposium, we will also create and present to you a beautiful and colorful Commemorative Award Medallion to honor your photographic dedication and achievements.Award Ceremonies and a Gala Banquet.****

**You will enjoy dazzling world class entertainment created especially for you featuring the legendary icons of music, The Platters and hosted by Atlantic City Entertainer of the Year, Lee Allen. This special command performance will delight you.

**You will learn more about your craft in seminars and workshops on how to fine-tune your photographic talents.

**You will participate in a fantastic international photography competition featuring prizes totaling $25,000.00, including the Grand Prize of $10,000.00.

**You and your guests will also be eligible to win one of many door prizes, valued at over $6,000.00.

**You will make friendships that will last a lifetime and will return home with wonderful memories, your Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Crystal Award Trophy, your Commemorative Award Medallion, and lots of other special gifts.

**You will have the rare opportunity to get up-close and personal with Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Hume Kennerly, Time Magazine photojournalist Robert Nickelsberg, Rock & Roll Photographer Bob Gruen, fashion photographer Billy Pegram, and other photography celebrities who will be in attendance.

Here are just a few samples of the works of these photography celebrities!

Don't miss this opportunity. Space is limited, and our Conventions routinely sell out. Plan to join your fellow photographers in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 22-25, 2007, for the photography event of the year! I am also looking forward to meeting you and celebrating the power and beauty of photography!

**Go here to register!**When you attend the Convention and Symposium, you will present your photography in front of your fellow photographers from around the world and you will be presented with your Outstanding Achievement in Photography Crystal Award Trophy.

The Award is a magnificent work of art in itself ($300.00 value), made from imported lead crystal (see it here ). It is hand-engraved and mounted on a solid marble base. This will be the first time ever that we have bestowed these crystal awards. They have been created by artisans that we have commissioned specially for this year’s event. This impressive crystal award is so valuable that we have designed a special carrying case just for you to take it home. And David . . . there's much more . . .

I got that too but deleted it some time ago. lolI know it was span when I saw it but they keep on senting me stuff. I started to think about the time I almost throw away this invition to hang some art at this high class place. I thought it was span but I called the local number and they say  I was invited to hang my art there for they saw some of it and like what they saw. Only people that get invited can hang there. No money was exchange unless I sell.
But this is not the same as the local invition I got. I think this is a con

I posted the following in a similar thread. Picture.com is a known scammer. Please don't mention them here, some of us don't want the memories. All this guy does is takes your photos and sells them (he wants your money). He should get arrested and thrown in jail for mischief, felony, fraud and a whole bunch of other crimes (including cheating a member of Renderosity). I cant believe he's still doing this. He should have been caught long ago. Now check this out, according to Riviera's website a deferent event is taking place at that time. Sounds really suspicious. I would contact the hotel and ask for some more info (if I where in this situation).

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

I think anytime your requested to send money in to recover a prize is highly suspicous. I would be 99.9 % sure of it being a scam.

If life was fair, Elvis would be alive and all the impersonators would be dead.
