Ok, I understand the use of a profanity filter as much as the next guy, but it seems to me that it can be taken a bit too far, lol.......

Cumbria is a county in the northwest of England (for those who don't know).

This is what you get when you type Cumbria in the chat room...
#$%^&* ria

Obviously it doesn't take much to work out what the first three letters make up but..... hey.... does every possible combination have to go into the filter. I find it slightly tedious.

Well, I just thought it was worth a mention.

scunthorpe is another town in england. Dorset is the best place in britain for 'naughty' towns. Must be all the scrumpy :)

The best US one is Gobbler’s Knob. Google shows lots of references to groundhog day - maybe theres sound kinda connection ?

Damn....that is pretty tight.

 

You may have to find a creative work-around in the mean time.

 

The staff may have other priorities and just tell you to fuh cough.

gradient...... I don't actually live in Cumbria, I was just chatting about it.....
Well,  I say chatting...but it didn't really occur that way lol.  And as it appears,  there's plenty more things ya can't chat about either,  so for now (and quite possibly the long term future), i'll have to be inventive. So ferk it!
