Subject: How to create Poser body shape for Second Life?

armalite41 ( ) posted Mon, 26 February 2007 at 2:15 PM · edited Mon, 10 February 2025 at 2:14 AM

Cannot find anything that will tell if I can or can't create a body shape or avatar using Poser (6).  Can someone point me in the right direction please?  I've seen other posts on here about SL but no answers.

Thanks :)

May be wrong, but as far as I understood the documentation about Second-Life, you may import SL-Figures into Poser and animate it. That's it. No exchange of figures, no morphing.

Props must be created with SL's own editor.

I decided to drop SL for a longer time after reading more or less the complete docu. Perhaps it may be atractive in a year or so :)

yep. you can use poser to create BVH animation sequences for Second life, you can also import textures for the stock SL figures into SL but thats the limit. no meshes or morphs can be imported.
