I think I've finally cracked HOW to make a morph that could make conforming pants drop :)

So.. basically I just wanted to show off L

When? ;)

Sheesh you guys are fast LOL

I had to start up IE to link to it. Why you can't just type in the BB code is beyond me :o/

Cool... looks great .. but i dunno what he's trying to hide :}
Nothing there ...

But when you can make one side go a bit faster or a bit later it whould look smacking..
But so far its a damn good morph ..

It should be possible to make one side go faster than the other. With the SplitMorph function I think you could vary it more

Shouldn't be impossible at least

Can this work with the P4 male too?  He's the only one I work with, and sometimes Don.

not bad!

LostinSpaceman ( ) posted Mon, 26 February 2007 at 5:59 PM

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you ran the OBJ through the cloth room and saved the final results out as a morph target then reapplied it to the conformable figure creating the end results. However it was done it looks great!

Wow! That's amazing! But is there a hole/break in the jeans that shouldn't be there ... or am I seeing things? Near the right (facing me) thigh, I noticed it when his hand moved from behind his back.

Of course, I very often can't trust my eyes. ;-)

Anyways, looking forward to this. :-)

SS - it's a small poke-thru during the animation. Of course the "conforming" bit suffers a little with a morph that deforms the original shape to this degree. No holes though :o)

MW - no, it's 100% done in Blacksmith. If I should clothify it, I'd have to make it a non-grouped obj and then I couldn't use it as a morph target afterwards. So .. no "shortcuts", oldfashioned morphing only.

DPH - I guess with Wardrobe Wizard you could make them fit Dork. But they're made for the G2 males.

And that's why I still haven't figured out how to do full body morphs! LOL! I keep forgetting that bit about each group needing a separate morph. Ce' La Vie, I'm not in this to make money but it'd be nice if I could retain the information I know I've learned somewhere before. LOL!

Hey, there, TrekkieGrrrl - great stuff.   But you know, when I don't do my Dynamic Cloth pants correctly on the guys, they just slip down to the floor as well !  Ha ha !

So any chance you're gonna share this little trinket? And which G2 pants did you use? David

The pants used is a pair I made myself, so it's not like it's one of the existing ones for the G2's.

It still needs some work but once it's done I don't plan to keep it to myself ;o)

As for the naughty bits LOL He's wearing flesh-coloured speedos. Can't you tell? ;o)
