Well glory be.  Whatdoyouknow.  I have lived in this house for almost two years and in all that time we have had a sprinkler and hosepipe ban.  And finally today it was lifted. Apparently my local water company is the last one to lift its ban.  Brilliant.  Tomorrow I am going to water the garden.  Provided of course this torrential rain stops.

Great new for you. Looking a two picture what a different . Down under ( in my area) we have category 4. its mean no watering not even sprinckle can be used. Funny thing is we have casually some rain, does at a moment too, but somehow never rain around dams. I dont get it. I drain my pool several times because overfills and a dam receive none. Ah yeah and a dam actually top of the mountain!! Classic isn't that?!
Have a happy watering...

i blame tony blair... seems to be the "in" thing to do these days ;)

Interesting to see the difference, i dont have a garden so i dont know the pleasure of watering one ;). my only plant in the flat lives in my bathroom and i swear i dont need to water it, it just seems to live off the steam i produce in my nuclear showers each day :)

Our garden spends most of the year water-logged!!
We squelch our way down to the shed sometimes - now that must be Tony's fault I reckon!!!
Nuclear showers eh??  I bet you have a nice glow about you when to emerge from one of those!!
Happy watering Jack!

Hehe ;-)
We don't have plants... They'll just die... By the time we remember to water them they have brown leaves, so we just gave up entirely.
Good luck Jack-

Blame Tony, hah! Funny thread, but glad you have water again Jack...even though it may be more than you need. Nice before and after shots.
