save copy as pdf in photoshop.

or in (free) Openoffice.

there are a number of free pdf writer utilities. These appear as a printer on your system and generate a pdf file.

Primopdf seems to work well.

A search for pdf writer or primopdf should find it .

Also, Office 2007 (or at least Word 2007) has the ability to save as pdf.

For most users Word can nothing that can't be done with OpenOffice :)

The biggest difference: Word cost a lot, Openoffice is completly free and contains an Excel Clone, a Publisher Clone and some other goodies.

CutePDF is my choice for converting to pdf.

on teh open office kick...Scribus is the publisher clone btu is so much more powerful :) 
Also writes to PDF
