I think so. This is the P4Vickie with that beautiful Shari map, the Mehndi hair and the armour from Bbay. I love this. Marque

Wow, looks great! One question though, before I rush to Daz3d site... What happens to all my Victoria based characters? I mean, does the new Victoria .obj overwrite the old one, and what happens to all my Victoria character .cr2's that are based on the old Victoria .obj?

Oh WOW! What a lovely image.

Hey, rjghise, I LOVE your beautiful P4 Girls. I think they are more beautiful than most Vicky's I've seen. You gonna add any more, or make Vicky versions?...

Eowyn, Mehndi wrto that these morphs can be transferred very easy by using Morph Manager. See his reply posted on my answer: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=292281&Reply=292314#4

This is lovely Marque I have to agree Vicki2 is worth the money. Shari looks beautiful on her also.

Thanks Fox, I'm glad you like my girls. :-) I've got quite a few more lined up, but I've never, ever had much success with making Vicky look human. :-)

She does now, and you do keep your old Vickie if you update. This isn't Vickie, it's the Vickie P4 that allows Vickie to wear all of Posette's clothes. And you can use Vickie's maps on her, which is why I used the Shari map to demonstrate. 8^) You will have two Vickies to choose from if you update, you won't lose the old one. Marque

For the amount of money that they are charging for that armor, they could have spent the extra time and aligned the sides of the textures properly. Im not impressed.

thgeisel ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2001 at 11:37 AM

to eowyn. There is no new obj.vicky2 is only a new charakter based on the same obj as vicky one

wyrwulf ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2001 at 11:52 AM

The VickieP4 is a new OBJ. The Vicky2 points at the old Victoria OBJ

nikitacreed ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2001 at 1:14 PM

Wait...wait...now I am confused. I must own Victoria before I buy Victoria 2? If that's the case...why is there an upgrade price and a seperate purchase price? Is Victoria 2 a new OBJ or not? I purposely waited to buy Vickie because they said they were coming out with Vicki 2.

nikitacreed ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2001 at 1:14 PM

BTW: That looks great Marque. :o)

Marque ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2001 at 1:27 PM

No, only get the upgrade if you own Vickie original. If you have never bought Vickie get the full model. And trust me, you will love her. Thanks for the compliment. 8^) Marque

Hummm, I love the armour and if they offered me my money back I wouldn't take it. Also the textures are a different purchase from the armour, so you might want to get just the armour and not the textures. My slant on it is this, I am impressed with them, I don't see a problem with them, sorry if you do. Marque

br0ken ( ) posted Fri, 11 May 2001 at 3:20 PM

I really like the armor.... I just think that the textures need work. Whoever created the model did a great job -- just wish they spent a little more time on aligning the textures and ensuring that there isnt a color difference at the seams. Its not difficult to do, just time consuming... and its a shame that that time wasnt spent. Dont get me wrong, I never criticise items in the freestuff because im grateful that people who spent their valuable time making them shared them with us for free. But when someone puts something up in the marketplace it should be top notch with all of the 'bugs' worked out, and I consider texture mismatching a serious bug or flaw. If I purchased it I would be very disappointed that I now had to spend the time doing it myself. I'm actually doing that very thing right now ... matching the seams/textures on the custom clothing for the model of Tank Girl I'm making for freestuff, so I guess thats why I noticed the texture flaws on this model. Ah well, to each his own I suppose.

Yup, it works fine for me, I'm quite happy with it. Marque

Thanks Marque. You have gone far in convincing me to buy her with that image. BTW: I love Traveler's armor too. Wouldn't take my money back either. It's awesome! It's nice to know that with the Vicki2 P4Fem...I can use it on her with no problems.
