Subject: How can official forums still be trashed

rcr62 ( ) posted Thu, 08 March 2007 at 11:29 PM · edited Wed, 15 January 2025 at 5:56 AM

Ok when I got the upgrade to V6I I expected there would be problems.  I was not in on the initial release of 5I, but heard about problems in had initially.  I knew that this was a possiblity with version 6.  Therefore, the problems with the final version do not surprise me or dissapoint me (too much).  I will wait for things to get fixed and be happy.

What shocks me to the core is that their own forums have been trashed for days (feels like weeks).  How can a software company let their very public (to existing costomers) face be in such a disarray????

Am I overreacting???????

Nope, not over reacting at all!
It is the official point for peer advice and community...what the state of the forums over at E-on show, is just how much they rate advice and community! Not very highly by the looks of things.

Its the worst display of arrogness I have ever seen.   Its like they want it to happen so everyone will move to the other forums of theirs.
I much prefer the e-on vue forum for asking for help and general help.  More user friendly as I see it.
Shame its been neglected as it has.    I wonder if e-on has anyone who has the time or know how to keep a forum in operation.   I have had one for 12 years with a gallery and know its not all that hard to make one work as its suppose to work.     lol......Shame on them.   I'd be so embaressed if I had my forum in that condition.

Hmm.... what is that disarray you are talking about ?

I just looked at the cornucopia forums and I can't see anything wrong with it.

Anywhere I should look in particular ?

Its not the Cornucopia forums.  Its the Vue registered users forums that is in a big mess when posting.
A new thread ends up in a previous thread and no one knows what any one is talking about if that makes sense.   Its like they want the ones who ike taht forum move to C3d.   I will use the forum here at RO if they do away with the one we are talking about. :)

The forum has been like this for 2 weeks and been reported by lots people to e-on but still its a mess.
It seems everyone is in a little circle of their own anymore and some of us happen to not be in the one that needs attention.
I often wonder what every happened to the good old days when most all Vue user used this forum at Renderosity when bless her heart gebe was here.
Seems things have gone down hill every since.   Now its not about sharing and helping but all about money.......So Sad. :(

iloco ( ) posted Fri, 09 March 2007 at 12:23 PM
