Four months ago DAZ promised that the V4 (muscular) body morphs would 'shortly' follow the release of V4 but nothing happened - no body morphs. Then they said they would be available in January 2007 and again nothing happened now were almost half way through March.
     Well I have to say that I am disappointed with DAZ, promises, promises. I would really like them to be straight and say openly whether they intend to make these morphs available or not?
One of the reasons that I bought V4 in the first place was that I was expecting the body morphs to be available so I feel like I am being played along. So far I am continuing to use V3 but I would like to switch over to V4.
So I am asking DAZ here in the Rosity forum to make a public statement - when are the V4 muscular body morphs going to be available?

i hadn't heard of this before, but would like to see them, but am a bit p*ssed that it will cost more to get what was sold to me as being Morphs++ or something, when i got whatever the most expensive pack there was (called pro pack i think) with all that content, i was under the assumption that it would of been as many as, if not more morphs than V3, yet was greeted with this hidden morphs bull, not a happy man, i like V4 and have fun using her, but wasn't happy with the amount of morphs i got, hate to of seen what a non++ morph pack was, maybe they were all hidden.

I think a majority are waiting for muscle, ethnicity and creature morphs.  A little here and a little there will show what can really be done with V4.  IMO many of the merchant offerings for characters are too similar and it will be these morphs that really make a difference.

Absolutely right I wish DAZ would wake up and see that there really are a lot of people needing  these morphs. I hope that they don't make us wait until they bring out V5????

This was late last year when they said that but who knows maybe they will reconsider and improve on the morphs its impossible to say they just wont come out and tell us.

Lip morphs. we need lip morphs!!! Looka t all the character packs of V4 for sale, the lips (especially lower lip) all look very similar, and that is why it is is impossible to make her as pretty as V3 mostly. Love esther

Just to rub salt in the wound, but also to provide food for thought... over the last three weeks, Anton Kisiel has been prearing Apollo Maximus as a re-release - but this time as a freebie. It would have been released sooner, but he was taking requests fr new morphs... his turnaround was incredible - a request would be made an implemented within about 48 hours.

My point is, if one guy can do this, and offer it free to the community, then why can't DAZ do similar in the timeframe they've had?

I too am a bit disappointed that the extended morphs aren't done.  On the other hand, the same-ness of many merchant character offerings I can only blame on the merchants themselves, I have not had great difficulty getting some wide variety out of V4's existing facial morphs and a small bit of custom morphing, and I'm not even trying to sell the stuff.

Esther what exactly do you want V4's lip to do?  Can you draw it or show me some photos that illustrate what you really want?  I expect I could make a morph that should at least get you somewhat happier, and I've got INJ Pose Builder so it shouldn't be any big trick to make it portable...

Oh wow that would be cool. Well a morph to maale a line down the middle of V4 lower lip with a kind of bulge on both sides. Also one to straighten across the bottom and another to flatten the sides woould be great too. If you compare the promo images of V3 in the market place there are some really beautiful V3 characters so if you compare the lower lip shape of V4 I'm sure you'll see it too. Love esther

Hi, the attachted pics are my favourite V3 morphs. I think I used a combination of at least 5 V3 morphs to make that and even some in the negative. Does it really look easy? I would be so wrapped if you could do something to improve V4's lips so I could make her really beautiful. You should do it as a package and sell it really. Re: V4 morphs... what is the actual status of what is for sale by Daz, what has been promised or mentioned by Daz as an upcoming morph package, and what does V4 lack compared to V3?  

My understanding is that -

-For sale now are the V4 base figure and a separate product with the 1st and only set of V4 morphs available,

• And this leaves V4 without as much flexibility in the face, and limited or no muscle morphs;

• And Daz said/promised that at some point another morph pack was coming, including muscle morphs?

Is that the basic outline? I'm sorry I didn't just hunt and peck around Daz for these answers, but I find the most basic attempt to get a sense of what is or is not for sale at Daz, or upcoming, is next to impossible (and I've been shopping there for almost 3 years)...

The first and only set of available morphs for V4 is at daz and there is some muscularity and tone included. The face is limited compared with V3 but it depends on what you want to do with her, she may be perfectly adequate with current daz morphs for what you want. Love esther

Linkdink, that does seem to be the situation.  While there are muscle morphs, they are Full Body Morph only, meaning you end up with a regrettably generic physique, although it can be mixed and matched with the other FBMs like Amazon1/2, Fitness and Thin/Young for some good variety.  You can't however have a body that is massive and ripped in the arms and shoulders, and smooth in the legs and slim hips.
