How do you export a morph target? I went to File/Export and I didn't see an "Export as Morph Target". I want to transfer one morph to another character with the same number of vertices. Thanks.

Go here! You can't export a morph target from Poser itself....but you can transfer them with this handy little utility "Compose." http://morphs.bbay.com/tutorials/extract.html Have fun!

If PC, Morph Manager by Mason is an easy app for this. In Freestuff, search "manager" not "Mason". In Poser itself, "Export/ Object/ as Morph Target" will create an importable MT object from the current configuration of any body part.

Eric All you have to do is set the body part morph you want to generally 1. Then export that body part. Uncheck all boxes where it ask you to check things. Now it is a morph that can be imported for other characters the normal way you import morphs. For example lets say you used multiple morphs on the head and want that as a morph. Export the head as per above and bring it back in poser on your new character like normal morphs. Hope this helps. Ron

important! export as wavefront obj, then you will get the "as morph target" checkbox on the checkbox window if you have the updated poser (4.02 or .03). I uncheck everything BUT the morph target one, that one I check. It probably works either way. You cannot distribute these without squishing them first but you can load them into another character immediately by doing "load morph target."
