Subject: Burning Poser 7 ?

hi guyz...i'm trying to back up my downloadable version of poser 7 as you all know its almost 2 gig in size...i'm using nero version 6 to try back up poser 7 on a dvd writable disk but it keeps spiting the disk back out...any ideas on how i can make poser7 any smaller in file size or get this thing backed up so i know its nice and safe on disk ?

you may have to change some setting on nero, I used nero and burn my P7 with no problems.

Try to burn your DVD in UDF Format, not ISO format ... :)

UDF Format allows you to burn large files (> 1GB) on a DVD.

Wow!  I thought you actually wanted to "burn it"    :-))

I use RecordNow, never had any problems with it, I had Nero before and find it overly complex to perform simple burning tasks, I wouldn't go back to it!

I'm not sure but I think the basic version might be free, [not sure], maybe try it!

I used nero smartStart and burned my electronic download to a DVD. When I stick the DVD into the drive Poser comes right up just like if I had the DVD straight from EF. I did the same with P6  too.
I can't understand why it would be spitting your blank DVD back out could it be a defective blank DVD? It's happened to me on occasion.
