Subject: edit function at the image comments
Yes. I like this idea too. Sometimes after I've added a comment to someone's gallery image I change my mind and want to add something. An edit option instead of just a delete one, would be great. Of course I think like in the forums, there should be a time limit as to how long you can edit the comment for.
I would also like to see us have the ability to delete comments from our images instead of having to rely on a moderator to determine if the comment is offensive enough for them to delete.
I know that I have had some comments made to my images that have stemmed from completely unrelated discussions in the Poser forum that had absolutely nothing to do with my gallery. Meaning they weren't threads that I created inviting people to go and make comments. These comments were posted as part of their personal agenda because I did not agree with their views so they decided to troll my gallery and add comments based on the thread discussion. Comments that would never have been made otherwise.
Initially when the galleries were changed over to php there was an option there that allowed members to delete comments posted. I took advantage of that and got rid of those that were posted by people with a personal agenda. Then the feature disappeared. I would like to see it returned.
I'm a responsible adult and I don't feel I should need to contact a moderator and explain my reasons as to why I want to have "so and so's" comment in my gallery deleted. The fact that I do should be reason enough and I would like the ability to do that privately and discreetly without having to involve anyone else in the issue.
