And you haven´t posted it in the gallery?????? This shot is gorgeous Kai. The composition is just brilliant. This is one flower-shot i think we all would be pretty damn proud to have in our gallery....shame on you for holding out on us. 😄

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

/me slaps kai... dude - just clean up those grainy bits (pollen?) and you have a stunner of a shot there with that flower :)

on the subject of babies and viscosity - i have thought on occasion of doing a dog doodie series... a challenge so to speak... try to take an artistic shot of something which is just not your classic subject matter :)

There´s a kids-show on TV here in Sweden called "Guess the poop"......they go out into the woods and film different kinds of droppings and they let the viewer guess what animal is responsible for leaving it. So i feel i have the proper competense to participate in that challenge. :tt2: And as you can see Kai....not everything is wonderful and full of glamour when it comes to Sweden and it´s culture....you may wanna reconsider changing your nationality.

well St Andrews is rather clean when it comes to that sort of thing so it might be a bit difficult... also can you imagine the looks you would get if you were on your knees or even prone with camera in hand taking a picture of dog poop?!?

here's my first ever attempt at a panning shot of a vehicle on a road... it was shot from the hip too (figuratively speaking of course) :)  but the focus is on the back of the bike rather than the middle so it isnt amazing/gallery worthy...

Damn you Kai. That shot is also beautiful!!!!
And no i didn´t hear about any McFlurry slut....although now i´m intrigued, lol.
Here people also have to pick up after their dogs if they´re out in public walking them. But since i live out on the countryside i just let Eija roam free during our walks across fields and in the woods. And she actually eats all the poop she comes across....horse-poop....cow-poop....bird-poop is her favorite....and so on. So i´m sure she cleans up more poop than she herself "releases"

ok this is a bit of a copy and paste for ya:

McDonald’s, Härnösand
Två killar ~25, som verkar vara engelsmän, står och ska beställa glass. På skylten står det “McFlurry” och en lapp framför visar att produkten är slut. Kille 1 (småfnissandes): Hello, I would like a McFlurry Slut! Kassörskan (ser helt förvirrad ut): …Eeeh, it is over. It is not in! Killarna förstår ingenting och tror fortfarande att de [...]

This is an experiment with a single 100 wt. incandescent bulb.  The background is brown paper, not noise but its texture.

"second cut" is what I call this play image.   I am playing with low light for an attempt at the still life genre thing.   Might get it done!  That image will not be recognizable as from the same hands...totally different set used for that.

Andreas, the wood gouge is Sweeeeedish!   The best.     Tom.

Well two pages while I slept! Kai, your first bloom is stunning, the colour is amazing! I love the lonely tree clining to the hillside, the last flower is quite interesting agaist the blue like that and the water shot is terrific. Post any or all! Chris I love your flowers as well, I realize you are experimenting, but they are quite lovely, especailly the first, the bloom all covered in dew looks so delicate and fragile. Kort, I have potty shots of all my kids and Mullaney as well, the cruelest thing we do to our kids. I love the McD shot, the vegatation looks ike snow piled up outside. Glad to see you'll not let one rude narcissistic witch ruin your model shoots Andreas, send her a broom! Have a lovely day all, back to back Overnights until Wednesday!

Loving the individual frangipani's chris :) And good luck with the still life tom, but surely low light just means higher noise problems anyway - wouldnt you be better off just using a more powerful but diffused light source so you can work at low ISO/fast shutter speeds?

Here is one of mine from a long time ago... it is an "outtake" from what has become my most favourited/viewed shot in my gallery: "The Space... the connection..."

Shameless plug but hey they are both the same subject...

Anyway - i'm going back home for a week now, so i wont be around as much here or in the galleries... have a good one! 😄
