Subject: Phoenix model needed

Hi there, could anyone tell me where I can find a model of a Phoenix... Or has anyone tips how i can realize such a model... Many thx Dee

There are a few schools of thought about how the Phoenix looked... but the most popular one is that of a Great Heron (Long Necked Goose type). They have a huge wingspan, and their wings are not unlike those of an Eagle. You may be able to morph the eagle into what you want... but I'd recomdend starting from scratch. Maybe with the Posable Wings located here. Too, there is another school which sees it as a Bird of Prey, but that's less popular

oh... BURN THE EAGLE!!! :) you want plumes? BURN THE PEACOCK! hey, dirk... do you want a mythological, normal phoenix, or do you just want a flaming bird? normally, when one thinks of a phoenix, one thinks of a flaming bird, but... as my cultural betters have pointed out on this thread, its an actual (if not real) bird species.
