Subject: Looking for info on Carrara file structure

I was messing around with a Carrara file and to my suprise discovered that it was a kind of zip file. I used winrar to extract the file and opened the uncompressed results in Wordpad. the results were semi-readable kind of like opening an OBJ file with Wordpad. Is there any place with more information on the Carrara extention that you guys know of? I have sometimes had problems with a Carrara file and wish to learn more for trouble-shooting purposes. thanks

In C5 the developers started using a zip compression format.  You may have notice that when saving a file you have a choice to save it compress or uncompress.  Yes you can open the CAR file in wordpad. I would suggest going to the Carrara SDK  group over at yahoo groups and ask over there.
