Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 30 8:14 pm)
Vue6Inf is a super bit of kit, no question.
If you look at my post further down regarding the shader tree of Poser then you'll see that the biggest issue with Vue6 has been identified and is about to be fixed, there are other small bugs but this is the biggest IMHO and once this is done and busted then it will rock again!
I'm not going to tell you to buy it, only you can decide that but I will tell you that this version [6] has converted a staunch Poser user into a Vue user, 'nuff said!!
Injustice will be avenged.

I dont think the modules are compatible between the versions.
Take care of what you buy, or you end up like me - Buying Esprit 6, then 3 modules, then regretting not having bought Studio, now thinking about infinite side-grade. ;)

Nope, the modules are not forward or backward compatible.
Eon tends to fix Vue Infinite first, then take those fixes and put them into the other products. Therefore, Vue 6 Pro, Esprite, and Easel tend to not have as many bugs - we have located them and stomped them out of existence... The last set of bugs have mostly to do with Poser imports. If that is not a concern for you, then I would go ahead with the upgrade. Otherwise, I'd say maybe wait a week or two at the most.

haegerst,
Stay with what you have for awhile and learn all about it, and upgrade later to Infinite, and the learning experince will be much easier and more fun learning new stuff.

I'm hesitant to upgrade as 6 seems to be problematic. I would pick up
a couple of 6 Pro modules if they were backward compatible with my
Vue 5.
Any ideas?
