Jim, If you'd like, contact me privately (email) and I'll send you a file to fix the cross-talk problem. The link provided is to a thread tittled "ERC cross-talk" by Jaager. In it, is an explanation of what's happening, and what needs to happen to remedy cross-talk. Another item in that thread is a solution for multiple dependencies with ERC.Lee,
Charles' cross-talk solution, by looking in the cr2 code, only fully works for P3/P4 standard human figures (due to group naming conventions). It also eats up valuable memory, however small, by including joint information when it's not needed. I've updated my explanation of ERC [rbtwhiz.com] to include the required 'sections' of the cr2 for this fix.

Gee, I hate to blow my own horn, but since you guys asked. ;-) The ERC update will be (when it is finished - real-soon-now)at my webpage, per the link, which is kindly donated by Bill of BBay. There is an updated OBJ file and CR2 there already, and later today I should have the first free SMV "character" up as well, I'm trying to get the originator to announce it. I've given up putting the SMV items in Free Stuff, as I get too many people wasting their time downloading when they don't already own SMV. I pretty much got the knees where they should be, better than above now, and they also reproduce the effect when you bend this far that the joint widens out. I'm now unsure if I'm going to use the donated butt JCM, as I might do my own. Anyway, the ERC update will address the knees, butt, elbows and maybe shoulders, but I would never even think about doing stuff like "breasts lift with arms", gee, I got to match all this stuff in her clothing! It is that morph that makes the skirt of the dress form so nicely between the thighs, my, she is so close to being naughty here! SMV actually started out as a figure to wear my clothing, in a way. She wears the Cheongsam above so well partly because it started with the SMV CR2, so the clothing matches the bends of the figure pretty well, the only problem is the polygons don't match, so the joints don't match quite perfectly. Nothing is turned invisable in the render above, incidently, and the only adjustment to her dress was to manually turn the dress's hip's JCM dial back a little. The Cheongsam also is going to need a (manually operated) morph to straighted the area behind the slits in poses like this, I see. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
