Howdy,
I am putting together some textures for V4 that I'm thinking of putting up for sale. For the life of me I can't figure out how I can make some mix-n-match textures for V4. Meaning, change the makeup but keep a tattoo or keep the eye make up and change the lipstick. Or change just the eye color. It is probably something easy knowing my luck.... :)

You jjust have to make different map for each part you want to change, i.e. one for the lips, one for the face, etc. For the tattoo, you can add it on the body map with a blend node (according you tattoo provides a trans map).

Try making them in PSD layres that can be exposed or hidden as required.
