so is this product all i have to have to use the lyp snyching feature for the listed characters? if not what exactlt does this product do?

What this is suggesting is that Talk Designer is set up to work with a few specific characters. This pack enables you to use Talk Designer with a much larger selection of characters. If you think about it, due to differences in proportions and mouth shapes, the same settings would look different on different character models. It sounds like this product translates the settings so they are more appropriate for the different models.
