Subject: Spaceship exteriors

Does anyone make any spaceship exteriors? How about even appropriate textures? I'm looking for something similar to, well, lots of peoples' spaceship corridors, airlocks etc., but for a portion of the outside of the spaceship.

Wellllll....;) There's some mats for Bryce (I think 5 may still be free out there somewhere, check the forum), called 'Bills' Spaceship materials'. I overuse them on a regular basis..;)

I've made more than a dozen corridors, fairly simple stuff. Any number of spacships (as objects). If you want some, just let me know, they're free. No plug (honest), but check my gallery if you want to see some examples. That could go either way...;)

(Compared to Stonemason's stuff, level..uh...17? 7? [no, that's Mordecai Roshwald..] 19? There's a freebie prop (c'mon..after downloading 20,000 plus Poser items, I have a right to be fuzzy..;) Just search on Stonemason. No reason they can't be exteriors..;)

X2000 has some interiors, also Jenay (Joe's Fantasy 3d worlds) are some places to get textures for spaceships. Also found in freestuff.

Also, theForce.net is good for Starwars stuff. There used to be a site called Startrekaustralia that had anything that every moved a pixel from one side of the screen to the other. They've moved, but dang are they hard to find (I'm still looking)

actually, search on 'meshes' and mebbe '3d art' (just to narrow it down some), and there's a cornacopia out there of stuff...

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Powerfusion3d(.com) has capitol ship sets... Made by Davorama who made a sci-fi wall set too.

There's some but not for Poser. You'd have to convert them. If you do a Google search, a few come up.

Davo's Flight Vehicle Construction Set (FVCS) comes to mind. If you follow the thread for it in
the Commons Forum at DAZ, you'll see there are literally HUNDREDS of ship combos with
it. Add the Ground Vehicle Construction Set (GVCS) or any of the Capital Ships, and the
possibilities are endless. I have both and they are WELL worth the money. Check out the
thread in the Commons and you'll see pics for hundreds of ship combos (hope you have LOTS
of time). :)

Try Animotions  or 3D Gladiators.

Check the Daz free archive and you'll find a set of Docking Bay Doors by Stonemason. From his Level 19 set, but you don't need that to make these beauties work.

What exactly are you looking for? Here's a shot of a Suliman Scout from the RPG Traveller I was working on.. Never finished it for Poser becasue I wanted working doors and landing gear, and there is NO interior what so ever, but I could send it to you if it would help. It's UV mapped, but again I never finished a texture for it.

Oh, that's Mike3 standing on it for scale.

I think that the ships at Powerfusion.com will really do the trick. I've picked up the AVS, and am working on a render using part of it now. In addition, there is the added bonus that you can stick all sorts of stuff in the interior. I also picked up his backpack kit -- in combination with the Shard Armor this gives me an ability to have reasonable spacesuits for most of the Mil folk.
