Subject: Hair doesn't show in thumbnails

I'm trying to save some poses to the library in Poser6 and the hair doesn't show up in the thumbnails.  Are there tricks to getting the hair to appear?  Thanks

You'll just have to make your own .png's I'm afraid.   When saving to the library Poser doesn't "read" transparencies, only in the preview window with OpenGL enabled can do that :(

Thanks for the response Kalypso.  I guess I was under the impression that Poser 6 could do it all.

Yes just render a 90x90 PNG and save the image to the library where the original thumbnail resides....

Well, actually with Poser 6 you can even make larger .png's to see more detail :)

How large can you make them?

I've got many at 120x200 pixels that really show off the Mats clearly.   Generally you wouldn't want to go over 100-120 px in width but length can be as long as you like.  I remeber some full length poses from a Japanese site that were up to 400px length but if all of them were like that we'd have endless scrolling :)

For certain items though it's a good idea and an attention-grabber!

Great thing is you can render to teh size you want and thenexport it straight into the library folder - saves a ton of time.

I render at about 100 X 150 or 100 x 200 for a skin mat
