Hi, I'm posing with Poser for more than a year now, and I want to start working with Vue too.
I have some questions though:

1. There are few Vue products and I find it abit confusing, what should I take: Easel, Espirit, xstream or infinite? all I know is I want to be able to create animations and I want to be able to use my Poser skills and resources. Can someone please detail the differences between the different products?

1. Is there really a large effort difference between learning the fullest Vue product (assuming it's xstream) upon the lightest Vue product?

2. Where can I find detailed tutorials for Vue? (except renderosity of course)

3. Where can I find models/material/etc for Vue? (except renderosity of course)

4. Are Vue resources ( models/material/etc ) common to all Vue products (xstream, infinite, etc)?

5. Any tip for a newbie is appreciated.

Unless you have a high-end program like Cinema 4D, Maya, 3D studio, etc, you don't need Xstream.  It's basically Infinite with a plug-in to work inside the other programs.  Easel is the most basic and limited version.  Each version above that adds to what the program can do.  E-on has a chart on their site that lists the differences.  I use Infinite, and it really is a great program. 

The nice part abut Vue is that the interface is the same, no matter what version you use.  So, if you decide to upgrade in the future, you don't loose what you have learned.

Vue items are for the most part available for all version.  Sometimes though, a material or plant might use something that a lower version does not have, so it's kind of a yes/no answer.

1. This partly depends on how much you want to spend.  If you want to do Poser animation you'll want Vue 6 Esprite at least.  Unless you're using Maya, Max or one of the other programmes xStream works with you can save yourself some money because you won't need it.  Have you looked at the comparison chart on e-on's site it might help you see what the differences are?
2. As you move up through the different variants there is more as they have more features but the interface and the way things work is pretty much the same across all versions.  It comes down to how much time you have to spend on learning to use Vue.

4. Cornucopia 3d has lots of models for sale.  I've not got a models/material/etc category set up yet but there are a lot of sites that do listed in my vue links directory.
5. Mostly but not always.  EcoSystems can only be used with xStream Infinite, Pro and Esprite with the appropriate module added.  Python scripts (like SkinVue) only work with Infinite and xStream.  Some models may use features that are only available in some versions.  Hopefully if it is important it will say so.
6. Get all the chores out of the way before you start using Vue it can be addictive.

One thing to conisder is that Espirit is a lower cost way to get started, and then add modules as you need them. Ultimately this costs more than ProStudio, but for those of us (like me) on a very limited budget, this was a way to get going without breaking the bank. The only thing is Espirit doesn't support Python, so SkinVue is not an option. Also - be very, very aware that Poser import into any Vue, but apparently esp. Vue 6 Espirit, is dodgy at best, and downright broken at worst. You will have headaches and frustrations until a patch is released that fixes this. My two cents.
