Posertrax Epic Pak I is the first in a series of Trax Paks that comprise the **Posertrax Epic Series**. The Epic Series is a collection of Trax Paks that make up a COMPLETE audio production library for any epic or fantasy project, and includes classical/cinematic music passages, battle sound fx, and peaceful ambient music for quieter moments.

Use these in video games, movies, animations, and presentations. Anywhere you need an epic score!

There are 6 Songs in this collection. All are 256k Mp3 files for CD-quality audio. Here are the songs and a brief description:

  • A Deep Dark Place (dark, ambient atmosphere)
  • A Hero's Honor (triumphant and majestic-sounding)
  • Riding Fast (suspenseful and quick)
  • Solemn Moments (a somber piece)
  • Storm the Castle (fast-paced action)
  • The Village Idiot (a humorous musical piece)

About Posertrax:
Posertrax are royalty-free music and sound fx for your movies. With a Pro/Broadcast license, you may use these in any personal, school, independent productions. Broadcast use - television, radio, cable, or other similar network requires cue sheets to be filed - no cost to you; we'll even take care of filing them for you! (contact for info on this - we'll help you every step of the way).

The files can be used in any Mac or Windows application which supports WAV or AIFF sound import. Video editing programs are ideal, but these can be used in Poser itself.

That seems very reasonably priced to me for broadcast. In licensing our tracks, we split between Indie and Pro - the Indie tracks are all mp3s, but the Pro have the uncompressed WAV files plus a higher bitrate mp3 version.

We allow indie versions to be used for just about anything but broadcast - in most cases where you have a screensaver or animation you deploy on the web, noone is going to know the difference anyway because you arent going to force them to download a 30-60 MB 2 minute sound file.

Best regards,

Hi Chris, thank you for taking the time to check it out. I appreciate your feedback on the pricing.

I would like to add that chikako is correct, these are very good prices for broadcast. I struggled with the pricing for a long time before deciding on what to charge. The industry average I've seen over the years is $29.95 for just ONE track, and usually there is no indie option.

Remember that this type of product is very different from something like iTunes where there is no license to use the music in your animations or games. Like Meshbox (excellent music by the way, chikako!), we offer an indie option for folks who just want to use them in personal projects and games.

For most customers' use here at Renderosity and in the Poser community, the personal/hobby license is appropriate. Only if you use these in broadcast situations or other situations that generate airplay where performing rights organizations do an accounting (such as major motion pictures) does the pro pricing apply.

Let me know if there is anything further I can clarify on the licensing - if your project doesn't require the pro pricing, then the personal/hobby license at 1/3 the price would be fine.

Thanks again,
--Donnie
