Subject: Changing the direction of a distant light?

How to you make these things change their position in space?  They always cast light from the same place.  What am I missing?

Hi BT, You can grab, move, rotate and adjust Distant Lights just like any other lights. Just select it with either the Universal Manipulator or the Translation tool. Mark

hmmm

doesnt affect where the light comes from tho...are you sure this is how?

it always casts light from behind my scene no matter where I place it.

Unlike spot lights or bulb lights, moving a distant light along either the x or y axis will have no effect on your scene. You'll need to actually rotate the light. Works for me at any rate. :D Mark
