Creating this image was really frustrating... Every time I moved the camera, the ground disappeared... And when I click on it and hit ctrl-I, visible is greyed out.. I have to jump to the hierarchy menu to make it visible again. Anybody know of a way to fix this, or if it's a legit bug? Also... Didn't realize until just today that if something has "cast shadow" turned off, not only does it not cast a shadow, it also doesn't have shadows cast onto it... also.. You can tell the ground not to cast shadows.. but as far as I can tell, it does anyway. Oh well.. I think the image turned out alright anyway, I ended up setting the light that was positioned below the horizon so that it didn't cast shadows, and left the other two lights casting... Feedback on the image is welcome... Also, does anybody know where this hair came from? I really like it, but just found it yesterday with some old Poser 3 stuff.

Just the standard ground... I went into the materials menu, picked it, and loaded up a texture... That much worked fine. I like the default ground object... very useful... but keeping it visible and getting it not to cast shadows were pretty much impossible.

Mmmmmm...I guess blue is not her natural haircolor? Great effect on the left wall. BTWmy previous comments about your wedding party image looking blurry were an error on my part. I finally figured out that AOL was making my images blurry. After much searching in the preferences, I finally figured out how to get the images to load clearly (turn off image compression in the advance settings if anyone else is having the same problem). Love the wing texture! Diane Thure Griffith

Yeah.. Once I got the shadows working on the walls, I was pretty pleased with the results... This image is straight out of Poser with no post or anything. The only think I wish poser did better was transparency related to shadows... If you could get a stained glass effect by shining a light through a translucent colored material that would rock! Oh well... Add it to the wish list I guess... You never know about her natural hair color though... Fairies could be different that way.

Especially considering she has blue lips LOL. I have had continual problems just as you state. I've made sure it was on in hierarchy and it just disappears again. Very frustrating. Diane

Not 100% sure, but I think the hair is from one of the old "Assassin" models. Forgive me for not remembering their creator, but they're excellent figures. SnowS

Nope, that hair comes from Greylight Internet linked on the right. -Jeff H.

Hey T, I posted that 'bug' a while back in the thread of 'poser bug complaints' that was going around a month or so back...I had the same problem EVERY time I would move the camera. When I was making my "Lady Ace" image that I posted a while back in the gallery I was trying to get a nice looking floor to depict a street surface and EVERY time the camera moved the floor was gone...I would have to go into the hierarchy like you and make it visible (even though it was ALWAYS greyed out). I'm not sure but I did get it to stay visible with ONE particular camera...I think that for each camera angle it needed to be 'clicked' visible or it would just disappear when moved. So basically the one camera that I had checked for it to show would still show it when I came back to that particular view. Not sure just WHAT I did but it worked...for that image at least. Also if you want to render the floor in...just make sure you position the camera just like you want the scene to look..with the floor showing THEN render...cause if you move it ..as you know it will disappear and NOT appear in the render... REALLY annoying bug... PAN~
